Some swords answer to history. These answer to imagination. Our fantasy swords cover the blades you know from anime, movies, and games alongside original designs no armory ever held — dragon swords with carved hilts and claw-swept guards, extra-wide anime-style blades, twisted-guard medieval fantasies, and Eastern wyrmblades — all built on the real architecture of working steel.

That last part is the difference. The costume-shop version of a fantasy sword is a wall-hanger casting; a fantasy sword from Battling Blades is built exactly like our historical reproductions: forged 1095 high-carbon or layered Damascus steel, fully hardened and tempered, sharpened, and shipped with a sheath. The dragon is decoration. The blade is real.

Anime, Movie & Game Blades

Oversized anime-style swords need more than looks to exist in the real world — an extra-wide 44-inch blade is an engineering problem before it’s a display piece. Ours are forged and heat-treated to carry their own proportions, so the sword that looks impossible on screen hangs on your wall in genuine patterned steel.

Dark Fantasy to High Fantasy

The collection ranges across moods and traditions — blackened steel and aggressive silhouettes on the dark end, gleaming Damascus and gold-toned fittings on the noble end, with fantasy takes on the katana, jian, kukri, broadsword, and greatsword. Many designs push real history one step further: spiral-carved guards descend from late Gothic German fashion, and patterned blades from the pattern-welded swords of the Viking Age.
