Turning Your Design Into Steel
A drawing or image can show things that steel can't do. Some details, especially in AI-generated images, may need to be simplified or scaled back so your sword can actually be made. We keep those changes as small as possible and stay true to the overall look of your design. If we can't make your sword at least 80% the same as your design, we'll let you know before production.
Colors may differ from your image, since screens, lighting, and real materials never match perfectly. We match them as closely as we can.
Modern Tools, Traditional Craft
Traditionally, a complex custom guard or pommel means a craftsman hand-carving it from scratch, and the customer pays for every hour. When a design calls for it, we use 3D modeling and 3D printing instead. Intricate fittings are modeled digitally, 3D printed, and precision-cast, so even the most detailed design comes out exactly as drawn.
The blade is still hand-forged, and every sword is finished by hand. The technology removes the slowest, most expensive step, so complex designs that would be impractical or unaffordable elsewhere become realistic.
What We Can't Make
We can't reproduce trademarked or copyrighted designs, such as logos, characters, or weapons from films, games, and anime. We're happy to build an original sword inspired by a style or era. We also can't build designs that are physically impossible to make as a working sword.

How do you make complex custom fittings?
For intricate guards, pommels, and fittings, we use 3D modeling and 3D printing to create precise castings. That gives an exact match to your design at a lower cost than hand-carving each piece.
How long does it take?
Usually 3 to 8 weeks. Complex designs can take longer.
Can you make a sword from a movie, game, or anime?
No. We can't reproduce trademarked or copyrighted designs, but we can build an original sword in a similar style.
Can I return a custom sword?
Custom swords are made to order and can't be canceled or returned, so please review your design notes, spelling, and engraving before ordering.
