Premium Bowie Knife: High Carbon Damascus Steel Hunting and Display Sword
Introduction: Immerse yourself in the legacy of the iconic Bowie Knife, a symbol of craftsmanship and versatility. Initially crafted by the renowned James Black in the early 19th century in Arkansas, USA, this knife pays homage to the legendary frontiersman Jim Bowie. This modern interpretation of the Bowie Knife is a testament to its enduring popularity among collectors, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Design and Usage: The Bowie Knife is characterized by its distinctive large, fixed-blade design, featuring a robust crossguard and a classic clip point. With blade lengths ranging from 6 to 12 inches, these knives boast a broad, thick steel construction. The versatile design, combining a curved top clip bevel and a straight edge near the guard, makes it an exceptional tool for hunting tasks such as skinning and butchering game. While resonating with historical significance, our Bowie Knives, crafted by Battling Blades, are designed for hunting or display purposes, not as weapons.
Blade Craftsmanship: At the heart of our Bowie Knife is the pattern-welded Damascus steel blade, a testament to the art of metallurgy. This blade comprises 11 pieces of steel, meticulously folded five times to create an astounding 352 layers. The blend of high carbon steels, including 1095 steel – known for its superior carbon content – results in a blade that perfectly balances hardness (55-56 HRC on the Rockwell scale) with durability and flexibility. This intricate layering technique not only ensures a formidable edge but also enhances the blade's strength to withstand significant impacts, making it the ideal choice for both practical use and collection.
Handle and Accompaniments: The handle, a sophisticated fusion of buffalo bone and brass bolsters, offers both elegance and a firm grip. The overall length of the knife is a commanding 20 inches, reflecting both its utility and majestic presence. Each Bowie Knife comes with a custom-fitted leather sheath, protecting and complementing its exquisite design.

Title says it all. Very impressed and happy with my purchase.
The knife is a little more than 20" and is awesome. The handle is smooth and natural bone. It is really incredible to get a knife of this quality for so cheap.
I like it and the handle looks cool, but it isn't comfortable and I wouldn't be able to hold it for a long time.
