Dive deep into the annals of European history with the pristine king sword, more commonly known as the longsword. Its signature cruciform hilt coupled with a double-handed grip speaks of its dominance on the battlefield and prominence in the hands of the elite warriors of old. As the embodiment of the late medieval and Renaissance weapon-craft (spanning approximately from 1350 to 1550), the longsword is as much a tool of war as it is a symbol of chivalry and martial honor.
The term "bastard sword" is a nod to the versatility and adaptability of this type of sword. Measuring an imposing 41 inches, with a blade length of 33 inches and an 8-inch handle, this particular specimen is every bit the embodiment of martial perfection that a longsword was meant to be.
This sword is a labor of love and craftsmanship. Its intricate details, from the meticulously crafted hilt to its razor-sharp edge, reveal the dedication and skill of its maker. And for those times it's not in use, the handcrafted leather sheath ensures its preservation and safekeeping.
Unrivaled Blade Craftsmanship
At the core of this masterpiece lies the Pattern-welded Damascus steel, a tribute to ancient forging techniques that combine both art and warfare. This blade, with its 352 mesmerizing layers, is born from 11 pieces of folded carbon steel. This creates not just an arresting visual but also promises unparalleled strength and flexibility. With a Rockwell hardness of 55 to 56 HRC, it's a blade that promises both durability and a lethal sharpness.
True to tradition, high carbon Damascus steel of this caliber must be fortified with layers of high carbon steel. This blade employs 1095 steel, famed for its toughness and edge-retaining properties. The layering ensures that the blade can not only deliver a deadly edge but can also withstand the rigors of combat.

My son absolutely loved it, Thank you so much
So impressed with this company. Fast responses to my questions. Shipping company messed up and they were on top of it. Made sure the swords were here for Christmas. Will buy from again.
I was in a program with a group of dads and our sons and we decided to get them each a sword as a symbol of “graduation” from the program. We each did our own shopping and i came across this website. I communicated with the rep via email and they were extremely helpful in deciding. The blade arrived way faster than expected (like 2 or 3 days?). I was expecting a pretty cool sword but when i opened the package my expectations were blown away…let just say out of several of us researching various websites (I was the only one who used battle blades) and spending around the same, I literally felt bad because the sword we got was unintentionally the envy of the group, by a long shot. The service, shipping, quality and build, and the beauty of this thing… I highly highly recommend!
