Embrace the legacy of the Norsemen with the Viking Sword, a blade that symbolizes the prowess and exploration spirit of the Viking Age. Hailing from the Carolingian era, this sword represents the epitome of craftsmanship and martial excellence of its time.

Historical Overview: Dating back to the Early Middle Ages, the Viking sword is renowned for its prominence in Western and Northern Europe. This exceptional blade traces its lineage to the 8th century, evolving from the Merovingian sword and being heavily influenced by the Roman Gladius. Designed for both slashing and thrusting, it is a single-handed weapon with a keen point and sharp edges. By the 12th century, the Viking sword gracefully transitioned into the Norman sword, setting the foundation for the celebrated knightly swords.

Artisanal Craftsmanship

  • Blade: Crafted from Pattern welded Damascus steel, the blade showcases a mesmerizing interplay of 352 layers, resulting from five precise folds. Utilizing the formidable 1095 steel, known for its high carbon content, the blade offers unparalleled sharpness and strength. This fusion of layers ensures the blade can withstand intense combat, offering both sharpness and resilience.

  • Handle: The handle, meticulously carved from bone, is adorned with brass bolsters. This combination not only offers an authentic look but ensures a comfortable and firm grip.

  • Sheath: A durable leather sheath accompanies the sword, offering protection and ease of carry.
