Evoking the elegance of the 16th and 17th century European warfare, this exquisite Rapier Sword with an intricately crafted leaf guard stands as a beacon of sophistication and power. This slender, sharply pointed masterpiece is not just a thrusting weapon but also a versatile piece for cutting or slashing.

Unlike conventional rapiers that are sharpened only at the tip, our rapier celebrates the unique attribute of being honed throughout its full length. It features a complex hilt designed meticulously to provide optimal hand protection, making it a magnificent blend of safety and effectiveness. Historically positioned as a distinctive variant of the broadsword or saber, this single-handed weapon is reminiscent of the Roman gladius, empowering its wielder with the option to pair it with a dagger, pistol, or shield.

Uncompromised Blade Quality

Our Rapier Sword is forged from the remarkable Pattern Welded Damascus Steel, a resilient carbon steel known for its heat-treated, folded properties. The blade comprises 11 distinct pieces of steel, folded five times to create an astonishing 352 layers. With a Rockwell hardness rating between 55 and 56 HRC, this combination promises a sword with unyielding edge-retention and the capacity to resist significant impacts.

This sword's strength owes to the inclusion of high carbon 1095 steel, recognized as the most carbon-rich steel used in sword-making. The result is a blade that flawlessly blends durability and flexibility.

Ergonomically designed with a wooden handle flanked by brass bolsters, the sword also includes a protective leather sheath for safe storage.

Foil Fencer's inquiry for practicality

I have this lovely beast! Perfect length for me at 5'6". I wish I could get a matching parking dagger even. With a background in foil fencing, I'd prefer it to be lighter. Does anyone know if it would be practical to grind out some of the material sharpening it for better handling and less weight?
