The Haladie, a double-edged dagger, carries a rich history from ancient Syria and India. Comprising of two curved blades adjoined to a singular hilt, it's a testament to traditional weapon craftsmanship. Historically used by the Indian Rajput warriors, the Haladie was a versatile weapon for both stabbing and slicing.

Daggers have long held a significant role in close combat situations across human history, with many cultures utilizing decorated daggers for ceremonial and ritual contexts. The Haladie, with its unique shape and historical prominence, is a symbolic and iconic piece. In today's world, daggers serve as close-proximity self-defense weapons, or powerful cultural symbols denoting rites of passage, while in others, they are cherished as ritual objects used for body modifications.

Please note, due to knife legislation restricting the manufacture, sale, possession, transport, or use of such weapons, this Haladie is sold purely as a display and art piece and is not intended for practical use.

Blade of Unmatched Quality

The Haladie's blade is crafted from pattern-welded Damascus steel, a heat-treated, folded carbon steel known for its exceptional hardness and resilience. Achieving 352 distinct layers by folding 11 pieces of steel five times, the blade possesses a Rockwell hardness rating between 55 and 56 HRC.

Our high carbon Damascus steel contains layers of 1095 steel - the highest content carbon steel utilized in swords. This unique composition creates a sword that maintains a sharp edge and the flexibility to withstand powerful impact. The handle is made from resilient black horn with an HRC of 55-56, and the Haladie comes complete with a protective leather sheath.

Custom, engraved, altered, made-to-order, backordered, and specialty items (including armor and chess sets) may require additional production time before they ship. Fully custom items typically take 4 to 8 weeks, but complex requests may take longer depending on the design, materials, approvals, and production requirements.
