English Suit of Armor

Full Viking suit of armor made of cuir bouilli leather. Cuir bouilli, the same as boiled leather, provided more protection than plain leather. The leather would be boiled in a vat of oil or molten wax. Once the leather had boiled, it would be shaped into the form the maker wanted, such as a chest plate. Afterward, the leather was left to dry and harden. The resulting leather was much lighter than metal and offered good protection from cuts and punctures.

This armor was designed after late middle age English tournament leather.  This suit of armor is of the highest quality, handmade from expert craftsman.  It stands 70” tall and can be worn or displayed on a stand which is included.  It comes with all the parts and pieces, including the shield and choice of sword.
