Our Gurkha Kukri Knife holds a proud history from Nepal, featuring an iconic inward curvature akin to a machete, designed for practicality and protection. This multi-functional knife is not only the basic utility weapon of the Nepalese people but also a distinguished tool carried by globally recognized military regiments.

Employed by the Royal Gurkha Rifles of the British Army, the Nepalese Army, Assam Rifles, Gorkha regiments of the Indian Army, and Gurkha regiments globally, it’s earned its reputable name as the “Gurkha Blade” or “Gurkha Knife.” Beyond its practical use, the Gurkha knife features prominently in Nepalese heraldry and is a significant part of traditional rituals.

Superior Blade Material

Our Gurkha Kukri Knife is skillfully crafted from pattern-welded Damascus steel - a heat-treated, folded carbon steel known for its unmatched hardness and durability. By folding 11 pieces of steel five times, we create 352 intricate layers, achieving a Rockwell hardness rating between 55 and 56 HRC.

The blade's composition of high carbon Damascus steel includes layers of 1095 steel - the highest content carbon steel utilized in sword-making. This unique layering process creates a blade that retains a sharp edge and demonstrates incredible strength and flexibility to endure high-impact situations. A wooden handle with stag horn pommels ensures a firm grip, and a protective leather sheath accompanies the knife.
