Viking Amulet
Viking amulets were not worn as jewelry, but were worn for protection. In the Middle Ages, the Vikings believed that amulets formed a protection from evil spirits with images of magical symbols. They believed they could protect a person, give them strength, wisdom, and frighten away enemies. Wearing amulets, such as these as was customary for men, women, and even children. This pendent is 2" across and comes with a metal chain.
