Build Your Own Greatsword | Zweihander, Claymore, Spadone, Estoc & More

Create your own custom greatsword with your choice of handle style, steel, blade length, scabbard, color, engraving, and upgrades. Each sword is handcrafted to order using real materials for collectors, gifts, display, cosplay, and functional handling.

Choose from a wide range of greatsword styles including Zweihandler, Claymore, Traditional, Spadone, Grete Swerde, Highland, Estoc, Medieval, Royal, Lion, Basket, and more—or upload your own design for a fully custom build.

Whether you want a historically inspired claymore, zweihander, spadone, or another massive two-handed sword, this is where your custom build begins.

Customize Your Greatsword

1. Choose Your Greatsword Handle Style

Select the handle style that best matches your vision, preferred era, and overall look.

Options include:

  • Zweihandler
  • Claymore
  • Traditional
  • Spadone
  • Grete Swerde
  • Highland
  • Estoc
  • Albion's Barron
  • Medieval
  • Royal
  • Lion
  • Basket (+$120)
  • Custom Design (+$100)

This builder is made for more than one type of sword. You can create a custom greatsword, custom claymore, custom zweihander, custom spadone, custom estoc, or other large two-handed sword style from a single listing.

Handmade—slight variations may occur.

2. Choose Your Steel

Stainless Steel
Low maintenance and corrosion-resistant. Ideal for display and light handling.

1095 Steel (+$40)
Stronger, more traditional, and better suited for a functional blade. Requires light oiling and regular care.

Damascus Steel (+$60)
Layered steel with a flowing pattern for premium craftsmanship and striking visual appeal.

All blades are made with real materials and built to feel substantial in hand.

3. Select Your Sword Length

Available in multiple overall lengths, from 20 inches to 75 inches.

Choose a shorter build for a compact custom piece or a longer build for maximum reach, presence, and display impact.

Because each sword is handcrafted, slight variations in final measurements may occur.

4. Upgrade Your Blade

Optional upgrades let you build a sword that better matches your preferences for durability, performance, and appearance.

Sharpened (+$30)
Adds a functional cutting edge.

Full Tang (+$100)
Provides maximum strength and durability through the full length of the handle.

Fuller (+$40)
A fuller can improve balance, reduce blade weight, and add a more traditional look depending on the style selected.

5. Choose Your Scabbard

Pick the scabbard style that best fits your custom greatsword.

Options include:

  • Standard Leather
  • Wrapped Wood (+$80)
  • Etched Leather (+$70)
  • Etched Wood (+$100)
  • Ornate Jeweled (+$200)

Whether you want something rugged, traditional, decorative, or gift-ready, your scabbard helps complete the overall build.

6. Pick Your Scabbard Color

Available colors include:

  • Brown
  • Black
  • Red (+$30)
  • Green (+$30)
  • Yellow (+$30)
  • Blue (+$30)

Choose a classic finish or a bolder color to personalize the final look of your sword.

7. Add Blade Engraving

Personalize your custom greatsword with blade engraving.

Options include:

  • Initials (+$60)
  • Name (+$80)
  • Date (+$70)
  • Sentence (+$90)
  • Logo/Image (+$120)

Blade engraving is ideal for gifts, commemorative pieces, collector builds, and one-of-a-kind custom swords.

8. Add Etch Sheath Engraving

You can also personalize the sheath with etched engraving.

Options include:

  • Initials (+$20)
  • Name (+$40)
  • Date (+$30)
  • Sentence (+$50)

This is a great finishing touch for a more complete and personal custom build.

Multiple Greatsword Variations Available

This listing is designed to cover a wide range of two-handed sword styles in one place.

Depending on the handle style you choose, you can build variations inspired by:

  • Greatswords
  • Zweihanders
  • Claymores
  • Spadones
  • Estocs
  • Highland swords
  • Medieval two-handed swords
  • Basket-hilt greatsword variations

That means you are not limited to one look. This product gives you the flexibility to create a sword that feels more Scottish, German, medieval, Renaissance, or fully custom.

Create a Fully Custom Greatsword

Want something completely unique?

Upload an image, sketch, concept art, or reference photo, and we’ll use it to help create your custom greatsword. You can also describe your idea in detail, and our team will review the design, refine the details, and confirm the final build before production begins.

This option is ideal for customers who want a one-of-a-kind greatsword, a personalized two-handed sword, a fantasy-inspired build, or a design based on a historical reference.

Every made-to-order sword is reviewed before it is built to help ensure the final piece matches your chosen style, proportions, and overall vision.

If you can imagine it, we can build it.

Crafted for Collectors, Display, and Real Handling Feel

Handcrafted Greatswords Made with Real Materials

Every custom greatsword is handcrafted using real materials and traditional swordmaking methods to create a sword that looks impressive on display and feels substantial in hand.

Each sword is built to deliver:

  • Solid construction
  • Real weight and balance
  • An authentic two-handed sword feel
  • A finished piece with strong visual presence

These are not mass-produced decorative replicas. Each piece is a made-to-order greatsword built for collectors, enthusiasts, gifts, cosplay, display, and functional handling.

Whether you are creating a custom zweihander, custom claymore, custom spadone, or another greatsword variation, the goal is to deliver a sword with a more realistic feel, stronger build quality, and a more impressive finished appearance than standard decorative pieces.

Because every sword is individually handcrafted, slight variations in size, weight, finish, engraving, and steel pattern are normal.

Shipping times refer to carrier transit time after an item ships. They do not include production time, custom work, engraving, etching, or other preparation time before shipment.

In-stock items typically ship within 1 to 4 business days, though this can occasionally take longer during high-volume periods or for items requiring extra handling. Engraving or etching on in-stock items may add 1 to 3 business days before shipment.

Custom, engraved, altered, made-to-order, backordered, and specialty items (including armor and chess sets) may require additional production time before they ship. Fully custom items typically take 4 to 8 weeks, but complex requests may take longer depending on the design, materials, approvals, and production requirements.

Once an item ships, delivery time depends on the shipping method, carrier, and destination. If you need an item by a specific date, contact us before ordering so we can confirm whether the timeline is realistic.

In-stock items with no customizations can be returned free within 30 days, as long as they show no signs of use. Returns are handled through our return center.

Items that have any customization (such as engraving or etching) or that show signs of use cannot be returned. Custom and made-to-order items are produced specifically for your order and are not eligible for return.

If your item arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective, contact us with your order number and photos so we can review the issue.
