Its Rockwell hardness rating of 55-56 HRC attests to its perfect fusion of hardness and durability. The Damascus steel contains layers of high carbon steel, specifically 1095 steel - the highest carbon content steel utilized in blades. This blend gives our axe the power to sustain a razor-sharp edge while demonstrating the strength and flexibility to endure substantial impact.
