Delve deep into the rich tapestry of Viking history with the Norman Viking Helmet. Originating from the 11th-century Viking settlements in France, this piece is a testament to the rugged, bold, and timeless Viking spirit.

Features

  1. Historical Design: This helmet showcases the iconic conical shape, meticulously crafted to protect the warrior's ears and nose during the fiercest of battles.
  2. Spectacle Guard: Emphasizing both form and function, the helmet features a spectacle guard, encircling the eyes and nose, providing an added layer of protection while enhancing the helmet's visual appeal.
  3. Echoes of the Vendel Era: Drawing inspiration from Vendel period helmets, the design embodies the spirit of an era that pre-dated the Vikings, showcasing an enduring legacy.
  4. Authentic Materials: While metal helmets are synonymous with Viking lore, it's believed that leather was the material of choice for many of their combat helmets. The Norman Viking Helmet pays homage to this tradition, bridging the gap between legend and reality.
  5. Debunking Myths: Contrary to popular culture, Vikings never wore horned helmets into battle. This misconception was perpetuated by 19th-century opera and has since taken root in popular imagination. Our helmet stays true to history, offering authenticity over fantasy.
  6. Universal Fit: Designed keeping diversity in mind, the "one size fits most" ensures everyone can adorn this iconic piece, whether for reenactments, collections, or simply to connect with the Viking warrior within.

Dive into History

Every curve, every metal piece, every design element of the Norman Viking Helmet speaks of an age where valor and honor reigned supreme. Wear a piece of history and rekindle the spirit of the legendary Viking warriors.
