Exquisite Arabian Scimitar: A Symbol of Heritage and Craftsmanship

Historical Elegance: The Arabian Scimitar, with its distinctive curved blade, is a revered symbol of Middle Eastern heritage. Dating back to the 9th century and reaching prominence during the Ottoman era, this sabre has been a staple in the annals of Middle Eastern history. The scimitar's design, influenced by early Greek and Persian swords, represents a blend of cultural sword-making traditions.

Masterful Blade Craftsmanship: At the heart of this scimitar is its exceptional blade, forged from pattern-welded Damascus steel. This intricate process involves folding 11 pieces of steel five times to create a stunning 352-layer blade. This method not only imparts a unique pattern to each sword but also ensures a balance of unyielding strength and flexibility. The blade boasts a Rockwell hardness rating of 55-56 HRC, indicative of its durability and sharpness. The use of high carbon 1095 steel, renowned for its edge retention and resilience, makes this blade ideal for both display and functional purposes.

Elegant and Durable Design: The handle of the Arabian Scimitar is crafted from high-quality wood, complemented by Damascus steel bolsters that add to its aesthetic appeal. The combination of bone and horn in the handle not only provides a traditional look but also ensures a comfortable and secure grip.

Product Specifications:

  • Handle Material: Wood with bone and horn, featuring Damascus steel bolsters
  • Overall Length: 34 inches, a commanding presence befitting its storied past
  • Rockwell Hardness: 55-56 HRC, balancing toughness with cutting efficiency
  • Blade Layers: 352, showcasing the art of Damascus steel folding
  • Sheath: Durable leather for protection and ease of carrying
  • Blade Composition:
    • 6 Pieces of Carbon Steel #43 and #40
    • 5 Pieces of High Carbon Steel 1095
    • Progressive layering for enhanced strength and aesthetics

A Symbol of Tradition and Functionality: This Arabian Scimitar is more than a weapon; it's a piece of history, embodying centuries of sword-making artistry. Suitable for collectors, enthusiasts, and historians alike, it's a testament to the enduring legacy of Middle Eastern craftsmanship.

Whether displayed as a collector's piece or used in ceremonial practices, this High Carbon Damascus Steel Arabian Scimitar is a remarkable representation of both the artistic and functional aspects of historical weaponry.
