Haladie Knife - High Carbon Damascus Steel Double-Bladed Dagger

The Haladie is a unique and historic weapon, tracing its origins back to ancient Syria and India. This double-edged knife, featuring two curved blades attached to a single hilt, was traditionally wielded by the warriors of the Indian Rajput clans. With its ability to both stab and slice, the Haladie was a versatile weapon in close combat. Beyond its functional use, daggers like the Haladie have held significant cultural and symbolic meanings throughout history, often used in rituals and as symbols of manhood.

Historical Significance:

The Haladie is more than just a weapon; it is a piece of history. Used by the formidable Rajput warriors, this double-edged blade was designed for both offense and defense in the heat of battle. Daggers, including the Haladie, have been used across cultures for millennia, not only in combat but also in ceremonies and rituals. The iconic shape and historical usage of the dagger have made it a potent symbol, representing power, bravery, and tradition. In some cultures, double-edged knives serve as symbols of manhood or are used in significant life events.

Blade Details:

This Haladie knife is crafted from pattern-welded Damascus steel, a material renowned for its combination of hardness and durability. The blade consists of 11 pieces of steel folded five times, creating a total of 352 layers. This intricate layering not only enhances the blade’s strength and flexibility but also gives it a striking, unique pattern. The high carbon content of 1095 steel ensures the blade maintains a sharp edge, with a Rockwell hardness rating of 55-56 HRC. The handle is made from durable Micarta, providing a secure grip, and the knife comes with a leather sheath for protection and display.

Crazy Knife

It is huge for starters. The blade curves in a really interesting designed pattering that connects in the middle. Getting it back in the sheath is kind of tricky but after a few tries you get used to it.
