Our knife is forged from pattern-welded Damascus steel - a hard, heat-treated, folded carbon steel. This blade comprises 11 pieces of steel, folded five times, to create a complex layering of 352 layers. The steel offers the perfect combination of hardness and durability, with a Rockwell hardness rating between 55 and 56 HRC. Our high carbon Damascus steel is layered with the highest content carbon steel used in blades – the 1095 steel. This composition guarantees a knife capable of retaining a sharp edge, while possessing the strength and flexibility to endure strenuous tasks. The knife's handle is a harmonious blend of wood and steel bolsters and is complemented by a leather sheath.
