Haladie Blade Details

The haladie is a double-edged knife from ancient Syria and India, consisting of two curved blades attached to a single hilt.  The weapon was used by warriors of the Indian Rajput clans, and was both a stabbing and slicing blade. Daggers have been used throughout human experience for close combat confrontations, and many cultures have used adorned daggers in ritual and ceremonial contexts. The distinctive shape and historic usage of the dagger have made it iconic and symbolic. A dagger in the modern sense is a weapon designed for close-proximity combat or self-defence. Double-edged knives, however, play different sorts of roles in different social contexts. In some cultures, they are neither a weapon nor a tool, but a potent symbol of manhood; in others they are ritual objects used in body modifications such as circumcision. Daggers are primarily weapons, so knife legislation in many places restricts their manufacture, sale, possession, transport, or use. This dagger is only sold as a display and art piece and is not intended for use.

Blade Details

This knife is made from Pattern welded Damascus steel.  Pattern welded Damascus steel is a hard heat treated, folded carbon steel.  There are 11 pieces of steel, folded five times, making 352 layers. The steel is the perfect combination of hardness and durability with a Rockwell hardness rating between 55 and 56 HRC.  High carbon damascus steel must contain layers of high carbon steel. The high carbon steel we use is 1095 steel which is the highest content carbon steel used in swords. The combination of the steel layers creates a sword that is strong enough to hold a powerful edge while having the strength and flexibility to withstand powerful collisions.  This makes the perfect steel for swords. The handle is black horn with an HRC of 55-56. It comes with a leather sheath.

Crazy Knife

It is huge for starters. The blade curves in a really interesting designed pattering that connects in the middle. Getting it back in the sheath is kind of tricky but after a few tries you get used to it.
