The high carbon Damascus steel integrates layers of high carbon steel, specifically 1095 steel, revered for its supreme carbon content. The resulting layered steel forms a blade that is potent enough to maintain a razor-sharp edge, while possessing the strength and flexibility to withstand powerful impacts.
