What You Get When You Buy a Sword From Us

Each sword is forged from real steel, fitted with a guard, handle, and pommel, and finished by hand. Most swords include a sheath or scabbard, and many can be personalized with engraving. Because our swords are handmade or hand-finished, each one carries small natural variations in pattern and finish that make it unique.

    • Real steel construction in every sword we carry
    • Sheath or scabbard included on most swords
    • Engraving and personalization available on many pieces
    • Fast and free shipping on orders
    • 30-day returns on unaltered, unused stock items

    Sword Steels We Offer

Our swords are made from four steels, each with its own character and price point:

    • 1095 high carbon steel: a traditional blade steel valued for hardness and edge retention.
    • Folded Damascus steel: pattern-welded from layered high carbon steels, prized for both strength and its distinctive flowing pattern.
    • D2 steel: a hard, wear-resistant tool steel used on select pieces.
    • Stainless steel: corrosion-resistant and low-maintenance, often chosen for decorative and detailed swords.

You can read more about how these steels differ in our sword steel guide.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a sword cost?
Prices vary by type, steel, length, and construction. Many of our swords fall in an accessible mid-range, with more affordable pieces available as well as premium higher-end blades. Each listing shows its price, and you can sort by price using the filters above.

    Are these real swords?
Yes. Every sword we sell is a real, full-size steel sword with a fitted guard, handle, and pommel, not a cast or toy replica. They are made from 1095 high carbon, folded Damascus, D2, or stainless steel.

    What steel should I choose?
1095 high carbon steel is a traditional choice valued for hardness. Folded Damascus adds a distinctive layered pattern. D2 is a hard, wear-resistant tool steel. Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant and low-maintenance. High carbon and Damascus steels need basic care to prevent rust; stainless is more forgiving.

Do the swords come with a sheath?
Most of our swords include a sheath or scabbard. The product page for each sword lists exactly what is included.

What is your shipping and return policy?
In-stock swords ship with fast, free shipping. Unaltered, unused in-stock items can be returned within 30 days. Custom, engraved, or made-to-order swords are produced specifically for your order and are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Can I get a sword personalized?
Yes. Many of our swords can be engraved, and you can also build a fully custom sword from the ground up with our custom sword builder.
