Embrace the rich heritage of the Scottish Highlands with our exquisite Lion Claymore Sword. This weapon pays tribute to the traditional claymore, a Gaelic emblem of strength and prowess from the 15th-17th centuries.

The claymore has two distinct interpretations—one being a two-handed sword with an optional basket grip for dual-hand wielding, reminiscent of a rapier hilt. The other variant features a unique v-shaped hilt. The term "claymore," initially used to describe basket-gripped swords, became a symbol of Highland tenacity following the Scottish-English union of 1707. The Lion claymore continued to hold its place of honor in Scottish regiments well into the 19th century.

Exemplary Blade Craftsmanship

This sword is an artful creation of Pattern welded Damascus steel, showcasing the finesse and precision of age-old metalworking techniques. The blade comprises 11 pieces of folded carbon steel, culminating in a striking 352-layer pattern that combines aesthetics and functionality. With a Rockwell hardness rating between 55 and 56 HRC, the sword balances exceptional hardness and durability.

Our Lion Claymore Sword contains layers of high carbon steel, particularly 1095 steel, well-known for its strength and resilience. These layers forge a blade that not only retains a formidable edge but also possesses the flexibility and strength to withstand demanding combat scenarios.

Finishing Touches

The sword's handle is made from sturdy steel, providing a firm and comfortable grip. It is accompanied by a leather sheath for easy carrying and protection. Whether you are a collector, history enthusiast, or warrior, this Pattern welded Damascus steel sword exemplifies the enduring beauty and might of these ancient weapons.
